"THE UGLYS"-3D An Animated Feature
“THE UGLYS” is part “DINOSAUR”, part “UGLY DUCKLING” tale amped up in a, “JURASSIC PARK”-like action movie. It’s a 3D animated comedy that takes the Ugly Duckling tale and spins it on its head.
During an earthquake, an un-hatched dinosaur egg ends up with two others in another nest. Bucktoothed and quite hideous in appearance, Mom and Dad are giddy with the anticipation of their new offspring.
When our hero, Dewey’s innocent face peers up at the world, mom and dad are in dumbfounded shock. Ostracized and with the help of another outsider named, Lulu, a cute female his own age, they set out on a journey to find their place in the world and hopefully a family to call their own.
We travel through strange environments and meet an array of funny and terrifying creatures. Their search is filled with wonder and action-packed danger as they discover that family is not defined by what you look like but by the love and commitment you have for one another. Through it all, the one thing we ultimately learn is that, sometimes. it’s good to be different.
