Illuminata Pictures was formed in 2005 for the
expressed purpose of being
a full-service motion picture production company. The
companies’ three partners are, Domonic
Paris, Mimi Maynard and Gina Gallo. Our diverse backgrounds
result in a company that is able to create original properties and see them
through all stages of production. Our first stereoscopic 3D Animated Feature film,
“Fly Me To The Moon” co-produced with and financed by nWave Pictures in
Belgium, was released worldwide August 2008 by
Summit Entertainment. With a budget of $17 million the film has now passed the 50 million box office mark. Illuminata Pictures has become a leader in the creation
of true, first frame conceived and created stereoscopic 3D material.
Using the
talents of a strong animation team working in the nWave Production facilities
in Brussels, Illuminata Pictures has positioned itself to be a provider of
world-class animation for both the theatrical arena as well the television and Internet markets. Working with a template whereby, Domonic Paris creates and writes the I.P.'s, all three partners then serve as producers. Illuminata partners Ms.
Gallo and Ms. Maynard cast the picture and all three are involved in the direction of the voice talent. The net result is that
Illuminata Pictures delivers a cost-effective, very high standard,
international product.
Illuminata Pictures serves as a co-producing entity, involved in every aspect
of production from concept, character design, hiring the film’s composer,
editing and contributing to the creation of various marketing and
promotional elements for the project once completed. Currently, we've completed production on our second stereoscopic 3D animated feature film entitled, “Around The
World In 50 Years” once again with nWave Pictures financing and handling the
animation. France's Studio Canal is releasing the film worldwide August, 2010 with an anticipated U.S. domestic release Spring 2011.”
Currently, we've begun work on our third stereoscopic feature film, an as of yet, untitled aquatic prison escape film set in an underwater Aquarium. Once again, Domonic Paris has written the screenplay and Illuminata and it's partners will serve as producers. Casting is now underway and completion is set for fall 2011.
